The easyfit coving backplate has only one function and that is to house the coving fascia.
It's design has two clip channels which allows the fascias to clip onto these channels - one at the top and one at the bottom.
The backplate has a large flat face on one side and this is the side that should be fitted against the ceiling facing off the wall.
